Commercial Real Estate in South Carolina… Is it making a year-end comeback?

The local commercial real estate market in the Upstate of South Carolina, has experienced an uptick in activity during the last quarter of 2012. “The uptick does not appear to be an aberration but rather a continuation of positive trends in the local commercial real estate (CRE) market”, according to Robbie Romeiser, agent with Spencer/Hines Properties. Ben Hines, President, Spencer/Hines Properties, backs this statement up, “after experiencing a considerable drop in sales volume during the recessionary years of 2010 & 2011, transactions have increased substantially during 2012.”   This upstick can be seen with recent sales and leases by Spencer/Hines agents.

Greenville Hospital System recently signed a 5-year lease renewal for its current 33,047 square foot medical facility.  Andy Hayes with Spencer/Hines was the agent in charge of the listing and leasing of the site.  Andy has been with Spencer/Hines since 2002 and recently was awarded Listing Agent of the Month for November 2012.  Spencer/Hines commands a substantial percentage of the surrounding area’s commercial real estate market due to its dedicated attention to client needs. The highly-qualified personnel at Spencer/Hines Properties aggressively pursue the objectives of each client with an enthusiasm that ensures success.
