Persistence has paid off for Ben Hines and his Spartanburg firm with partner Lynn Spencer.

Spencer/Hines has grown to four partners, 12 agents and a second location in Greenville. Spencer/Hines Properties was founded in 1993, though Spencer and Hines have been in the Spartanburg and Greenville commercial real estate market for more than 30 years, starting in 1986.

Last year Spencer/Hines Properties enjoyed its most successful year ever in gross sales, and the demand for high-quality real estate investments is continuing this year, Spencer said.

In 2014, the firm opened a Greenville office which has eight agents, though the Spartanburg office remains the primary location. “Our market is growing and dynamic,” Hines said.
